IMMIGRATION A Soul Has
No Color
On August 21, 2010
many will gather at the Church Street
United Methodist Church, 900 Henley
Street, Knoxville, Tennessee, to discuss
“Immigration, A Soul Has No Color.”
Although this annual Workshop, sponsored
by the Holston Conference United
Methodist Women, is conducted in the
state of Tennessee, the subject of
immigration is universal, and everyone,
no matter their state of residence may
benefit from the information presented.
Beginning at 9:00 AM
and concluding around 4:00 PM, this one
day workshop is led by informed
leaders to include the Rev. James
Dougherty, Chairman of the Holston
Conference Hispanic/Latino Ministries
Team, David Jennings, Assistant United
States Attorney, United States
Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of
Tennessee, and the Rev. Tony Collins,
Pastor of the Loudon United Methodist
Church in Loudon, Tennessee.
